Why do we call ourselves "Selsyn Advisors"?

Selsyn is a mashup of the words "self" and "synthesis"- selsyn. It refers to a system consisting of a motor and a generator connected in a way that the motor will assume the same relative position as the generator; the generator and the motor are synchronized. Resistance is removed.
